SyncPlayer Terms of Service
These terms of service apply to the entire SyncPlayer software family, including: HRSyncPlayer, CadenceSyncPlayer, and BodySyncPlayer.
1. Definitions and Authorization
The SyncPlayer application suite (including product variants HRSyncPlayer, CadenceSyncPlayer, and BodySyncPlayer, hereinafter collectively referred to as "Application") is provided by Glaucus TC Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Warsaw at ul. 1 Sierpnia 53/76 (hereinafter "Provider"). Installation, purchase, and launching of any Application variant constitute consent to the following operational and licensing terms.
2. Licensing Terms and Payments (Premium Model)
The Provider offers a one-time Premium rights purchase model (In-App Purchase). The transaction is completed and processed entirely through the Google Play Store billing system.
The purchase is permanently linked to the logged-in Google account identity. Verification mechanisms occur asynchronously on the native end-device libraries, with a built-in buffering protection (Offline Storage) that retains acquired rights even upon total loss of GSM signal.
Cancellations, financial complaints, or requests to void a purchase after the time window permitted by the Google Play Store (Chargeback) are handled exclusively through customer support tools offered on the Google platform.
3. Boundaries of Integration and Third-Party Dependencies
The architecture of the Application relies on integration with closed interfaces (APIs) authorized by Spotify AB and others.
Full music automation, including programmatic triggering and on-demand song changes directly from the Application's workout module, is blocked for free Spotify accounts due to server-side restrictions (HTTP 403). In such cases, the system smoothly redirects the session to the native application on the device to launch shuffle mode (Shuffle Play). The Provider of the Application is not responsible for limitations imposed by the subscription terms of technology partners.
4. System Availability and Data Security (As-Is & High Availability)
The Application is provided "As Is". Although the Provider makes all development efforts (including foreground service handling and system freeze mitigation) to guarantee the stability of multi-hour field sessions, it is not responsible for errors thrown by manufacturer operating system skins (e.g., MIUI, OneUI) killing background processes.
The central server-independent architecture ("Zero-Backend") transfers full responsibility for generated .tcx files (activity history) to the User. Clearing device memory without following the export procedure to Strava or removing the installation from the system results in the permanent loss of generated data.
5. Reporting Defects and Support
Critical bugs, support regarding hardware sensor synchronization (HR monitors, cadence sensors), and information requests are processed electronically at support e-mail: syncplayer@glaucus.pl (corporate contact: biuro@glaucus.pl). Response time to technical reports depends on developer availability; however, the Provider assigns repair priority to failures interfering with completed transactional payments (Google Billing Client).
